France has multiplied production of CAESAR self-propelled howitzers and Mistral missile interceptors
We have already written that France was able to increase production of Dassault Rafale aircraft. The production of CAESAR howitzers and Mistral missiles has also increased.
Here's What We Know
During the year, the French defence-industrial complex was able to several times increase the production of some samples of military equipment and weapons. The French Minister of Defence welcomed the success of the industry.
At the beginning of 2022, Nexter produced only two self-propelled howitzers CAESAR per month. Now the production volume has been tripled. Moreover, at the beginning of 2024, the company will be able to produce eight artillery units.

Grâce à eux, la production est montée en cadence. Et les délais se sont réduits.

At the same time, MBDA has doubled production of Mistral missile interceptors. Now not 20, but 40 anti-aircraft missiles roll off the assembly line every month. Thales has doubled the production of radar stations.
The Defence Minister also said a few words about 155 mm calibre ammunition for the Ukrainian Armed Forces. In 2024, France will be able to supply Ukraine with 3,000 shells, i.e. three times more than in January 2023.
