Elon Musk Wants to Launch Starlink Satellite Internet in Iran

The day before, we wrote about the Starlink coverage map. Satellite Internet is already available in dozens of countries, but there are several states where it will not appear in the near future. However, one country may drop out of this list.

Here's What We Know

Journalist Erfan Kasraie asked Elon Musk about the technical feasibility of providing access to satellite internet in Iran. In response, the SpaceX chairman said that he planned to ask the authorities to ease sanctions against Iran, which would have allowed to launch Starlink in the country.

Now, in addition to Iran, there are eight countries that remain without satellite Internet SpaceX. They are China, North Korea, Cuba, Syria, Belarus, Afghanistan, Venezuela and Russia.
