SpaceX released more than 1 million Starlink satellite Internet terminals

Production of Starlink satellite Internet terminals has passed the psychological mark.

Elon Musk wrote on Twitter that the American company has produced more than 1 million terminals. At the same time SpaceX began accepting orders only in February 2021. In just a month, the company has received more than 500 million orders. But at that time, the service was available only to residents of Australia, New Zealand, Canada, the U.S., Mexico and the UK.

By the middle of 2023, residents of almost all countries will be able to use the satellite Internet of Elon Musk. They have recently been joined by the Iranians, where Starlink has also started working. Afghanistan, China, Syria, Belarus, Russia, Venezuela and North Korea remain on the "black list".

SpaceX put a new batch of satellites into orbit last weekend, bringing the total to nearly 3,400. The company already has permission to launch 12,000 spacecraft. Meanwhile, the Federal Communications Commission denied SpaceX $900 million in government funding to develop satellite communications.
