Meta tests drafts and camera in Threads
Here's What We Know
In a new update to the Threads app, Meta is testing two long-awaited features: drafts and a camera. Instagram CEO Adam Mosseri said that these features are currently available to a limited number of users.
With the drafts feature, users will be able to save content for future posts. Now you can write and save posts in draft form, which can be published at a convenient time. Additionally, the Threads app will display an icon to let you know when you have saved drafts.
At the same time, Mark Zuckerberg demonstrated a new camera feature that allows you to quickly post photos. However, it is not yet clear whether basic editing functions, such as cropping images, will be available.
Experts note that this update comes ahead of the possible launch of a Threads-style carousel that will allow users to present their images in a convenient way.
