Blaze unveils Spider reconnaissance drone for challenging weather conditions

Blaze has announced a reconnaissance-level drone called the Spider.

Spider is a drone with a fixed wing that can take off and land vertically. It does not require much clearance to land. The manufacturer states that the new drone can be used on ships.

The UAV is equipped with an electric propulsion system and has only one propeller. It is mounted in the nose of the drone. One of the features of the drone is the ability to operate in difficult weather conditions without sacrificing performance.

The Spider is capable of remaining in the air for up to 180 minutes. The drone can be equipped with a camera and various sensors depending on the task at hand. Blaze notes that the drone can be used by the military, law enforcement agencies, medics and rescuers.
