DJI will unveil Mavic 3 Classic quadcopter with Hasselblad camera for about $1400

DJI does not want to leave the consumer quadcopter niche empty for long after the Mavic 2 series quadcopters stopped selling. To that end, it will release the DJI Mavic 3 Classic drone.

Here's What We Know

The drone will be a smaller and slightly simplified version of the regular Mavic 3, which is very popular with the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Classic version will also be equipped with a 20MP Hasselblad camera with an equivalent focal length of 24 mm, CMOS sensor size 4/3' and aperture of f/2.4-2.8.

There is no information about the differences between the DJI Mavic 3 Classic and the regular Mavic 3. It is likely that the future quadcopter will lose some features. In particular, the TV camera, which is missing in the photo.

The price of DJI Mavic 3 Classic will be about $ 1400. For comparison, the Mavic 2 Zoom and Mavic 2 Pro cost $1250 and $1450 respectively at launch. Mavic 3 will cost $3000.
