General Atomics has shown a CGI video of the latest Mojave UAS, carrying 16 AGM-114 Hellfire missiles and flying for over 25 hours
General Atomics Aeronautical Systems Inc. (GA-ASI) has released a new video on the Mojave drone. The manufacturer has built only one drone.

The CGI video shows the Mojave drone being flown by a C-130 Hercules cargo aircraft. According to the manufacturer, once the drone leaves the cargo bay of the aircraft, it takes up to 90 minutes to prepare for launch. This feature makes it ideal for the US Air Force and Marine Corps.

Mojave is GA-ASI's latest drone, which is so far only available in a single model. The drone was announced at the end of 2021 and is based on the MQ-1C Gray Eagle, which is designed for the US Army.
The published video demonstrates the possibility of transporting the drone in disassembled form, stripping it of its tail and wings. The drone has movable mounts to mount them.
According to the manufacturer, the Mojave can take off and land in any weather from any location. The drone can conduct reconnaissance at an altitude of 120 meters and is capable of flying beyond the line of sight of the operator. The maximum flight time is over 25 hours.
The loading of AGM-114 Hellfire surface-to-air missiles is demonstrated next. During the presentation of Mojave in late 2021, GA-ASI, stated that the drone will be able to carry up to 16 such missiles. Naturally, the drone could be equipped with other munitions depending on customer requirements.
At the end of the video, the company showed a drone launch equipped with a Rolls-Royce M250 engine. Portable hardware is used for launch. The SC2 system, developed by GA-ASI, is provided for control.
