Turkey receives two more Aksungur strike drones that can fly for 50 hours
The Turkish Armed Forces have received another batch of Aksungur drones. This was announced by Ismail Demir, head of the Defence Industry Directorate.
Here's What We Know
The Aksungur has been developed by Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI). It is built on the basis of Anka drone. It took around a year and a half to develop the new drone. The first batch was handed over to the Turkish military at the end of 2021.

An unmanned aerial vehicle can be used for surveillance reconnaissance and strikes against the enemy. Two more Aksungur drones have recently been adopted by the Turkish forces.
The drone has a satellite control system and can fly for 50 hours. Its maximum flight altitude is more than 7,000 meters. The Aksungur uses L-UMTAS and Cirit missiles and TEBER-81, TEBER-82, KGK, HGK-3, MAM-C and MAM-L bombs to strike enemy targets.
