Ukraine successfully deploys classified drone with maximum launch range of 1,000km
In mid-October last year, the Ukrainian company Ukroboronprom announced the development of a domestically produced drone. More than six months later, it has been successfully deployed.
Here's What We Know
This was announced by the company's spokeswoman Natalia Sad. She published a photo on Facebook, in which, in addition to her, the Commander of the Air Force Mykola Oleshchuk, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Valery Zaluzhny and Director of Ukroboronprom Yuriy Gusev are depicted.
Natalia Sad wrote that the photo was taken "after a successful use of the drone at 1,000km". More information on the use of the drone, unfortunately, is not available yet.
Overall, Ukroboronprom's drone is a classified development. We only know that it has passed "a number of tests" as of early 2023, has a maximum launch range of 1000 km and a warhead weighing 75 kg, and a maximum take-off weight of over 200 kg.
