A US military reconnaissance-class drone crashed in Poland

U.S. military drones have fallen on hard times. On Sunday, a Russian Su-35 fighter jet attacked an MQ-9 Reaper in Syria and damaged its propeller. A little earlier, an unidentified drone crashed in Poland.

Here's What We Know

Poland's defence ministry said a US drone crashed in the southwest of the country. The incident occurred late last week night during a training flight.

It is reported that the military reconnaissance-class drone crashed due to loss of communication with the operator. The drone went down in a forested area. A local resident reported to emergency services that he saw the aircraft crash.

The model of the drone was not specified. The remains of the drone were handed over to the US side. No one was injured in the incident.
