Elbit Systems has announced that it has received an order for SkyStriker kamikaze drones. It is known that we are talking about a European buyer, but the Israeli company did not name the country.

Here's What We Know

The amount of the deal was $95 million. The deliveries will last for two years. The exact size of the batch is not specified, but we are talking about several hundred drones that can hit enemy targets.

SkyStriker has an electric propulsion system and can stay in the sky for 2 hours. It has a range of 100 kilometres. The kamikaze drone is capable of travelling up to 185 km/h. It can be armed with a warhead weighing up to 10kg and the maximum take-off weight is 35kg.

The Israeli drone proved its effectiveness in practice a few years ago. In the winter of 2019, the ScuStrikercmog hit a Russian Pantsir-S1 anti-aircraft missile and cannon system in the suburbs of Damascus, Syria.
