The Ukrainian Defence Forces have received 10 attack hexacopters with thermal imaging cameras that can carry up to six anti-tank munitions
The Ukrainian Defence Forces have received another batch of attack drones. This was announced by the charitable foundation of Serhiy Prytula.
Here's What We Know
Unmanned aerial vehicles were transferred to the Centre of special operations "A" of the Security Service of Ukraine. Hexacopters can destroy enemy armoured vehicles. For this purpose, they are equipped with a system that allows them to carry and drop up to six munitions.
The Foundation has purchased five unmanned aerial systems. Each system includes two hexacopters, antennas, communication repeaters, chargers, a ground control station and containers for transport.
The charity also purchased 82 LD 50000mah 22.8V 3C LD batteries. It spent UAH13.125 million ($360,000) to buy the drones and equipment. The fund said in a statement that 10 million hryvnia ($273,000) was contributed by Dragon Capital CEO Tomáš Fiala.
