The Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Defence Ministry has received a new batch of Leleka-100 drones. The drones were bought as part of a joint project of the IT company Intellias and the Turn Live Foundation.

Here's What We Know

The department received six reconnaissance-class drones worth almost 9 million hryvnia ($250,000). Another third of a million hryvnia will be spent on purchasing laptops, generators, charging stations, batteries and camouflage nets.

Leleka-100 is a Ukrainian-made drone. It allows reconnaissance 50 kilometres behind the front line. The drone can reach speeds of up to 140 km/h and climb to a height of up to 2,000 metres. The UAV is equipped with night and day cameras and is also resistant to suppression means that can be used by the enemy.
