UK allocates over $75 million for Ukraine to purchase drones

The UK has announced that it will allocate £60 million ($75 million) for unmanned systems from the International Fund for Ukraine.

Here's What We Know

Part of the amount, namely 20 million pounds, will be used for air defence. It is worth noting that the International Fund for Ukraine is managed by the UK Ministry of Defence.

This initiative is part of a global effort to support Ukraine. For example, recently, UK Defence Secretary Grant Shapps announced the allocation of as much as £325 million to purchase more than 10,000 drones for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Almost the entire budget is targeted at FPV drones, but there are also plans to purchase approximately 1,000 attack drones.
