Xiaomi a month ago introduced the budget smartphone Redmi A1 - the first Xiaomi smartphone on a pure Android OS for $80 in three years, and now is preparing for the release of its improved version.

The smartphone will be called Redmi A1+. According to the official invitation and teasers, the novelty will be shown on Friday, October 14. The event will be held in India.
The main difference between the Redmi A1+ and the basic model will be a fingerprint scanner. Otherwise, the novelty will be similar: the chip MediaTek Helio A22, 2 GB of RAM, 32 GB of ROM, 6.52-inch display with a resolution of 1600×720 pixels, 8-megapixel main camera with a second additional sensor, 5 MP front and a battery of 5000 mAh with 10W charging.
The novelty will cost more than $80.
