Meizu 19 will get Snapdragon 8 Gen2, 144Hz display and will cost $500
In 2023, Meizu, along with the flagship Meizu 19 Pro, will introduce a standard next-generation model.
Here's What We Know
The smartphone will be called Meizu 19. It is codenamed Phoenix, and some of the specifications are already known. Like the Pro version, the standard model will also get the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen2 mobile processor, and the main camera will retain a 50 MP module.
The display will be based on a panel with a frame refresh rate of 144 Hz and support for DC Dimming technology. The presence of an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner means that we are talking about a matrix on organic LEDs, but information about the diagonal and resolution is not yet available.
The Meizu 19 will cost $500, but again it is not clear which modification we are talking about. For comparison, the Meizu 18 (pictured) hit the market in spring 2021 in configurations of 8/128GB, 8/256GB and 12/256GB for $615, $655 and $700 respectively.
