Gurman: New MacBook Pro and Mac mini with M2 chips may debut in November
This week Apple introduced several new products: iPad Pro, iPad, and Apple TV. So now all the attention is focused on the new Macs. And Bloomberg's Mark Gurman has some information about them.
Here's What We Know
According to rumors, the new MacBook Pro and Mac mini could debut as early as next month, in November. Most likely, there will be no full-fledged presentation, and instead Apple will just publish press releases, as in the case of the new iPad tablets. And all because, according to Gurman, there will be minimal changes in the laptops.
Incidentally, Apple has released new Macs several times in November in recent years, including the original 16-inch MacBook Pro in 2019 and the first three Macs with the M1 chip in 2020. The current 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models with the M1 Pro and M1 Max chips were released in October 2021. And the Mac mini was last updated in November 2020.
The new MacBook Pro is expected to get M2 Pro and M2 Max processors, and the Mac mini is expected to get M2 and possibly M2 Pro.
We can expect the MacBook Air, 13-inch MacBook Pro and 24-inch iMac as early as 2023.
