Snapdragon 8 Gen2, 100-watt charging, AMOLED LTPO screen, IP68 and 1" Sony IMX989 sensor for $1115 - specifications and price of Honor Magic 5 Prestige Edition are known

We wrote about the cost and parameters of Honor Magic 5, and in this article we will tell you what will be the premium version of the Prestige Edition.

Here's What We Know

As the standard model, Honor Magic 5 Prestige Edition will get a 6.78" AMOLED LTPO screen with 1-120 Hz refresh rate, built-in fingerprint scanner, 13MP camera hole and other chips.

The battery capacity will be reduced to 4800 mA*h, but the smartphone will support wired and wireless charging capacity of 100W and 50W, respectively. The hardware platform, of course, will be based on the Snapdragon 8 Gen2. At the same time, the Prestige version will get IP68 water protection.

The key difference between the new flagship series from the standard model will be the main camera. The main module will have a resolution of 50 MP. It will be built on the basis of the Sony IMX989 sensor of 1" optical format. Also in the Honor Magic 5 Prestige Edition we will see sensors Sony IMX758 and IMX516.

Honor Magic 5 Prestige Edition will be available only in a modification with 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of internal memory. The price will be $1115, i.e. will not change compared to the Honor Magic 4 Prestige Edition.
