It's official: MediaTek will unveil Dimensity 8200 processor at December 1 presentation

MediaTek has announced the presentation date of the new Dimensity processor.

We are talking about MediaTek Dimensity 8200 chip, which will be the successor of Dimensity 8100. The processor will be announced at an event on December 1.

If you believe the rumors, the Dimensity 8200 will get the same cores as the Dimensity 8100, but they will have a higher clock frequency and a different configuration. The Cortex-A78 cores will come in two clusters: one 3.1GHz core and three 3.0GHz cores. As for the four energy-efficient Cortex-A55 cores, they will get a frequency of 2.0 GHz.

The first new chip should be installed in smartphones Redmi and iQOO.
