Insider: realme prepares for release the smartphone realme GT Neo 5 with charging support up to 240W

The company realme this year introduced the smartphone realme GT Neo 3, and now is preparing for the release of its successor.

This was revealed by Chinese insider Digital Chat Station. According to the leak, the gadget will be called realme GT Neo 5. The new product will hit the market in two versions: base GT Neo 5 (BLP985) and top GT Neo 5T (BLP987). The first model will get a 5000 mAh battery and 150W fast charging, while the second model will get a 4,600 mAh battery and support charging up to 240W. If the rumors are confirmed, it will be the smartphone with the fastest charging in the world. Supposedly, the device will charge from 0 to 100% in less than 10 minutes.

Both novelties will also get AMOLED displays with higher refresh rate, chips MediaTek Dimensity, as well as the operating system Android 13 with a proprietary interface realme UI 4.0. The new products will be released in the first half of 2023.
