LG won't be able to release transparent OLED TVs until 2024

LG this year expressed a desire to begin work on their first transparent TVs equipped with OLED panels. But they will not appear soon.

TheElec reports that LG will not release transparent OLED TVs until 2024. One of the reasons is the economic downturn, due to which the South Korean manufacturer does not want to take the risk of introducing experimental devices to the market.

LG sells transparent panels in the B2B segment. They are used for signage and signage. In the consumer segment, the South Korean manufacturer will not be the first to release a transparent TV. Back in 2020, Xiaomi did it, announcing the Mi TV Lux 55" diagonal model. But it is not popular.
