Ming-Chi Kuo: Apple may show a branded AR/VR helmet at WWDC 2023
We have repeatedly written that Apple is working on a branded mixed reality helmet. According to Chinese analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, the novelty will be shown this year.
Here's What We Know
Apple originally wanted to announce the device in the winter, but due to problems with the testing of mechanical components, the release had to be postponed. If everything goes according to plan, the helmet will be announced in the spring or early summer at the event for developers WWDC 2023.

As a result, it is increasingly unlikely that Apple will hold a media event for the new device in January. At this point, it seems more likely that Apple will announce the AR/MR headset at a spring media event or WWDC based on the current development progress.
If we believe previous rumors, Apple AR/VR-helmet will get Sony Micro-OLED screen, a lot of sensors, as well as support for proprietary services Apple TV + and Apple Arcade. The device will run on the operating system xrOS and will cost $2000-3000.
