Insider: Galaxy S23 flagships will get an improved version of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip

The closer the presentation of the Galaxy S23, the more details about the novelties appear on the Internet.

Here's What We Know

According to 9toGoogle, the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+ and Galaxy S23 Ultra will get a special version of the flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor.

The chip will be called Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 Mobile Platform for Galaxy. It will differ from the usual version overclocked from 3.2 Hz to 3.36 Hz main core ARM Cortex-X3. Other features of the SoC will remain the same. That is, the chip will get four high-performance cores at 2.8 GHz, three energy-efficient cores at 2.0 GHz and built-in 5G modem. The processor will be built on a 4-nanometer process technology.
