Insider: OnePlus will present a mysterious conceptual smartphone at MWC 2023
Although OnePlus has not yet officially confirmed its participation at MWC 2023, according to insider information, the manufacturer will arrive there, and not empty-handed.
Here's What We Know
Renowned whistleblower Max Jambor reports that OnePlus will unveil the OnePlus Concept Two concept smartphone at the international event. It appears to be the successor to the OnePlus Concept One (pictured), a concept gadget that debuted at CES in 2020.
The OnePlus Concept One was a really interesting device with a leather rear surface, a McLaren-style design and an "invisible" triple main camera. The lenses were placed under five ultra-thin layers, the middle one being the most important electrochromic material. This coating darkens when a directional current charge is applied. That is, when the camera is off, the glass is dark and you can't see the lenses behind it, but as soon as the camera application is activated, the coating becomes transparent. Unfortunately, this technology has never been implemented in any finished product.
What innovations the OnePlus Concept Two will showcase is not yet known.
