Insider reveals what the Sony Xperia 1 V will look like: the company's new flagship smartphone

French insider OnLeaks has published quality images and specs of the new Sony Xperia 1 V flagship smartphone.

Here's What We Know

So, the novelty will not differ from the current model Sony Xperia 1 IV externally. The smartphone will get a body with dimensions of 161.0×69.3×8.5 mm and a 6.5-inch flat display without openings and notches. On the back of the device, a 12MP + 48MP (wide-angle lens) + 12MP (telephoto lens) triple main camera and LED flash will be placed.

The novelty will be powered by the top-end Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor. The device will also get a 5000mAh battery, 16GB of RAM, a separate button to launch the camera and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

When We Can Expect It

Unfortunately, there is no announcement date for the Sony Xperia 1 IV yet. Presumably, the flagship will be shown in spring or summer.
