7 Xiaomi smartphones will soon stop getting new test versions of MIUI 14 on Android 13
Xiaomi will stop developing new test versions of the MIUI 14 firmware for seven relatively old smartphones in mid-spring.
Here's What We Know
The company will not be releasing beta versions of MIUI 14 software for all Redmi K40 models. That's the standard edition of the same name, as well as the Pro, Pro+ and Gaming versions. Also on the list are the Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite 5G, Xiaomi Mi 10S and Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G. All of them were announced in 2021.
The MIUI 14 Beta development halt is scheduled for April 21, but it doesn't mean that smartphones won't receive any more updates. The company will continue to release stable versions of the firmware. In addition, between the discontinuation of new MIUI builds and the final end of support, all models will receive security patches for the Android 13 operating system.
