Xiaomi prepares to launch budget smartphone Redmi A2 with dual camera, MediaTek Helio G36 chip and price under 100 euros

German insider Roland Quandt has revealed that Xiaomi is preparing a successor to the Redmi A1.

The novelty will be called the Redmi A2. The smartphone is expected to debut in Europe as early as this month.

According to the leak, the gadget will get three colours, a plastic body, a dual main camera with an 8MP main module and a 6.52-inch display. The novelty will be powered by a MediaTek Helio G36 processor and powered by a 5000mAh battery. The smartphone will be equipped with a microUSB charging port and a headphone jack.

As for the price, the novelty will be sold in Europe for 97 euros.
