Insider: The vivo X Fold 2 will be the first foldable smartphone on the market to get the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip

vivo has been working on the foldable X Fold 2 smartphone for some time now. Thanks to insider Digital Chat Station, some specifications of the device have surfaced online.

Here's What We Know

So, according to the leak, the novelty will run on the current flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor. Incidentally, this will be the first foldable smartphone in the world with such a chip on board.

The vivo X Fold 2 will also get a larger 4,800mAh battery (as compared to the original X Fold model). It will support fast charging with 120W of power. In comparison, the vivo X Fold is charged via a 66W power pack and the vivo X Fold+ is 80W. Other specs of the smartphone are not yet available.

When We Can Expect It

The vivo X Fold 2 will be unveiled in spring or summer.
