Honor Magic 5 on Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 tested on Geekbench ahead of official launch at MWC 2023
Next week, the Mobile World Congress 2023 will take place in Barcelona, Spain and will bring a lot of new products. In particular, the Honor Magic 5. The Chinese company's flagship has been tested in Geekbench 5 following the Xiaomi 13 a week before the announcement.

Despite the fact that the Xiaomi 13 and Honor Magic 5 get the same Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 mobile processor, the Multi-Core results were different. While the Xiaomi 13 managed to score 5111 points, the Honor Magic 5 stopped at 4,584 points. In Single-Core mode, the scores are almost the same - 1,490 and 1,411 points respectively.
The Honor Magic 5 will be unveiled on February 27. In addition to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip, the smartphone will get 8/12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The software shell will be Magic UI firmware based on Android 13 operating system.
The Chinese company recently announced the Magic 5 Lite in Europe. At MWC 2023, in addition to the Magic 5, there will be Pro and Ultimate versions, as well as a bendable smartphone Magic Vs.
