Announcement close: OnePlus starts teasing the release of a new version of the OnePlus Ace 2 with the Dimensity chip on board

It has been reported on the internet that OnePlus is about to unveil a new version of the OnePlus Ace 2 smartphone. Now the manufacturer has officially confirmed it.

A OnePlus representative has published a teaser of the device on the social network Weibo. Unfortunately, he did not disclose the novelty announcement date, but it is likely that the smartphone will be shown as early as the beginning of March.

The main difference in the new OnePlus Ace 2 will be the processor. Instead of Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, the novelty will install a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC. The gadget will also get a 64MP main camera instead of Sony's 50MP IMX355 sensor. As for the other specs, they will remain the same: a 120Hz AMOLED display, LPDDR5X RAM, UFS 3.1 storage, 5000mAh battery and 100W charging. The smartphone will cost less than $400.
