WhatsApp gets dual-panel support on Android tablets

Meta is preparing a major update for the WhatsApp app on Android tablets.

Here's What We Know

We're talking about a new dual-panel interface. Wabetainfo noticed it in the latest beta version of the app. Thanks to the innovation, using the messenger on devices with larger screens will become easier. One part of the display will show a list of chats, while the other will show open correspondence. Incidentally, the current version of WhatsApp has the same interface as on smartphones.

When We Can Expect It

The innovation will be tested for several months. Most likely, the new interface will appear to all Android tablet users closer to the summer.
