Even though Samsung unveiled the Galaxy S23 flagships with Qualcomm chips this year, the company is still planning to release its new top-of-the-line Exynos SoC.
Here's What We Know
If the leak is to be believed, the processor will be called Exynos 2300. The chip goes by the codename Quadra. It will get a 1+4+4 configuration. We are talking about a single 3.09GHz Cortex-X3 core, as well as four 2.65GHz Cortex-A715 cores and four 2.1GHz Cortex-A510 cores. Like last year's processor, the novelty will come with AMD RDNA 2 architecture.
When We Can Expect It
Samsung may unveil the new Exynos chip in the second half of the year. Incidentally, the Tensor G3 processor that will appear in the Pixel 8 smartphones may be based on the Exynos 2300.
