Images of the Sony WF-1000XM5: the company's new flagship TWS headphones have surfaced online

We recently wrote that Sony is working on the new top-of-the-range wireless headphones, the WF-1000XM5. It looks like their release is just around the corner.

Here's What We Know

The novelty has been certified by the US agency FCC. The first pictures of the device have also been found in the database. According to the leak, the Sony WF-1000XM5 will get a more compact size than the current Sony WF-1000XM4 model. The earphones will still have a vacuum design and a plastic charging case. The case will get wireless charging support, LED indicator and a 230mAh battery.

In terms of features, the headphones will come with Bluetooth 5.3, Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), transparency mode and Hi-Res Audio support.

When We Can Expect It

The Sony WF-1000XM5 should be announced shortly.
