ASUS ROG Phone 7 and ROG Phone 7 Pro show close to a record in Geekbench

ASUS ROG Phone 7D appeared in the Geekbench software database last week. Now it's joined by the ROG Phone 7 and ROG Phone 7 Pro.

Here's What We Know

Both smartphones are equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor with a maximum clock speed of 3.19GHz, 16GB of RAM and run Android 13 operating system. The ASUS ROG Phone 7 is numbered AI2205_B, while the Pro version is AI2205_C.

The standard model scored 2,022 points in the Single-Core test and 5,719 points in the Multi-Core test. In both cases it managed to outperform the ASUS ROG Phone 7D. The ROG Phone 7 Pro, on the other hand, scored 1,969 and 5,430 points respectively. The Meizu 20 and Meizu 20 Pro came up a little short.

The next generation smartphones are expected to be unveiled in mid-summer 2023. It's too early to tell about the prices yet, but they are unlikely to be much different compared to the sixth generation (from €999).
