Rumour: Apple is working on a new version of Beats Studio Buds with an updated chip and improved ANC
Apple unveiled the TWS Beats Studio Buds in 2021 and is now preparing a new version.
Here's What We Know
According to 9to5Mac, the new version will be called Beats Studio Buds+. The earbuds will get the same design, but will boast a refreshed process. Presumably, it will be Apple's W1 or H1 SoC, like the AirPods.
Thanks to the new chipset, the Beats Studio Buds+ will get improved active noise cancellation (ANC) and transparency mode. The leak also says that the headphones will support Audio Sharing, Automatic Device Switching and the ability to trigger the voice assistant with the phrase "Hello Siri".
When We Can Expect It
Unfortunately, there is no announcement date for the Beats Studio Buds+ yet. Perhaps the novelty will be shown at the WWDC 2023 conference in early summer.
By the way, the current model of Beats Studio Buds can be purchased at a discounted price of $79.99 $149.95, -47% on Amazon.
