Motorola prepares Edge 40 and Edge 40 Pro: flagship smartphones with Qualcomm/MediaTek chips and displays up to 165Hz
Motorola is set to introduce a new flagship smartphone range to the global market.

The information was shared by our colleagues at MySmartPrice. There will be at least two devices in the new series: the Motorola Edge 40 and the Motorola Edge 40 Pro. The base model in the series will get a 6.55-inch display with a POLED matrix, Full HD+ resolution, 144Hz refresh rate and 1200 nits brightness. The Motorola Edge 40 will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8020 processor and powered by a 4400mAh battery. It will get support for 68W wired fast charging and 15W wireless charging. The smartphone will come with a 50 MP + 13 MP primary camera, a 32 MP front camera, and IP68 protection.
As for the Motorola Edge 40 Pro, it will be a global version of the Moto X40 smartphone that debuted in China in December. That is, the novelty will have a 165Hz OLED screen, 50 MP + 50 MP + 12 MP camera with OIS, Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip, up to 12GB RAM, up to 512GB ROM and a 4,600 mAh battery with 125W charging. No word yet on when the devices will be unveiled.
