Motorola Edge 40 with MediaTek Dimensity 1100 chip and 8GB RAM tested on Geekbench
Motorola recently unveiled the flagship Edge 40 Pro and is now preparing to release the base model of the series.

The Motorola Edge 40 has been spotted in the Geekbench performance test database. According to the report, the newcomer will come with 8GB of RAM and an Android 13 operating system. What's interesting is that the test version of the device runs on a MediaTek Dimensity 1100 processor, though previous leaks suggested that the smartphone would get a more powerful Dimensity 8020 SoC.
It is also known that the Motorola Edge 40 will feature a 6.55-inch screen with a POLED matrix, Full HD+ resolution, 144Hz refresh rate and 1200 nits brightness. The novelty should be powered by a 4400 mAh battery. The battery will support 68W wired charging and 15W wireless charging. The smartphone will get IP68 protection and will cost €599 in Europe.
