Rumour: Galaxy Watch 6 will get a new Exynos processor, it will be more powerful than the Exynos W920 in Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch 5
New details about the Galaxy Watch 6 range of smartwatches have emerged online.
Here's What We Know
According to our colleagues at SamMobile, Samsung is planning to install a new proprietary processor in the Galaxy Watch 6 and Galaxy Watch 6 Classic (aka Galaxy Watch 6 Pro).
The chip will be called Exynos W980. It will be built on a 5nm processor and will boast a performance boost of more than 10% (compared to the Exynos W920 in the Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch 5). In addition, the new SoC will provide better battery life for the gadgets.
The watch is also known to come with OLED displays up to 1.47", larger batteries, different sizes and a mechanical spinning bezel.
When We Can Expect It
The watch is rumoured to be unveiled in late summer. The new products will be shown alongside the Galaxy Flip 5 and Galaxy Fold 5.
