Insider: Galaxy Fold 5 to become Samsung's lightest and thinnest foldable smartphone

Chinese insider Ice Universe continues to share details about the Samsung Galaxy Fold 5 foldable smartphone.

So, according to the insider, the gadget will get a body that measures 154.9×67.1×13.4 mm when folded and 154.9×129.9×6.3 mm when unfolded. This makes it 0.2mm shorter, 0.2mm narrower (unfolded) and 0.2mm thinner than the Galaxy Z Fold 4. Apart from the reduced dimensions, the Galaxy Fold 5 will also be 9 grams lighter than the Galaxy Fold 4. It will weigh 254 grams.

The novelty should also get two OLED screens, a top-of-the-line Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor with increased clock speed and a revamped hinge. Thanks to it, the smartphone won't have a protrusion between the two halves.
