It's official: ASUS to unveil ROG Ally gaming console with 120Hz screen and AMD chip at event on 11 May
After months of rumours, teasers and leaks, ASUS has announced a launch date for the ROG Ally gaming console.
When We Can Expect It
According to the official invitation, the device will be unveiled at an event on May 11. The gadget will debut immediately in Europe, Asia and North America.
It will sport a 7-inch FHD display with 120Hz refresh rate, 500nits brightness, and 7ms response time. The gadget will run on a custom AMD processor paired with Radeon 780M graphics and 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM. In addition, the device will have a 512GB SSD drive, microSD card slot, dual-cooler cooling system, Dolby Atmos-enabled stereo speakers and a case that weighs in at 608 grams.
ASUS ROG Ally will ship with Windows 11 operating system. The console will support Steam and other gaming platforms. The cost of the gadget should be less than $ 1000.
