At the end of February, a full-fledged presentation of the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra electric car took place. The Chinese sedan received not only elegant design, luxurious interior and impressive technical characteristics, but also uses the most advanced technologies.

Here's What We Know

One of the main features of the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra table is the strongest "bulletproof" coating, which is used to protect the batteries in case of an accident.

Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun creatively demonstrated its durability by dropping a watermelon encased in a 14-layer protective reinforcement shell from the sixth floor.

The watermelon was not injured.

The SU7 Ultra is powered by CATL's 93.7 kWh Qilin 2.0 battery pack, which supports fast charging, capable of charging from 10 per cent to 80 per cent in just 11 minutes.

The car is capable of a top speed of up to 350 km/h, and its braking system uses carbon ceramic discs that provide excellent stopping power.
