vivo X Fold+: Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, 80W fast charging and new color for $1540
The company vivo, as promised, held an event in China on September 26, at which it unveiled its new foldable smartphone.
Here's What We Know
The novelty is called vivo X Fold+ and it is an improved version of the regular vivo X Fold. The main difference of the device is the flagship Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor (instead of Snapdragon 8 Gen 1). The smartphone also boasts a new Huaxia Red color, an increased battery from 4,600 to 4,730 mAh and 80W fast charging. In comparison, the vivo X Fold was charging with a 66W power supply. Naturally, the novelty also supports 50W wireless charging.
As for the other specifications of the vivo X Fold+, they remained the same. That is, the smartphone is equipped with a main screen of 8.03 inches with a resolution of 2K and an additional panel of 6.53 inches. Both screens have AMOLED matrix and refresh rate of 120 Hz. The novelty also got a 16 MP front camera, a 50 MP + 48 MP + 12 MP + 8 MP main camera, up to 12 GB of RAM, up to 512 GB of ROM and the Android 12 operating system.
Price & When We Can Expect It
The vivo X Fold+ has already started selling in China. The novelty costs from $1540. Whether the smartphone will appear in other countries is unknown.
