Renaissance Italy through the eyes of an assassin: IGN has unveiled detailed gameplay footage of the new VR game Assassin's Creed Nexus
Assassin's Creed Nexus has been released for Quest 2, Quest 3 and Quest Pro headsets.
In order for users to make their own opinion about the game, IGN portal published a video, which showed the introductory episode of Assassin's Creed Nexus VR.
Here's What We Know
In the shown footage, the well-known master assassin Ezio Auditore explores a luxurious palace, faces several enemies, uses hidden blades and even a sword, as well as demonstrates parkour skills.
Due to the general rawness of VR technology, the game looks somewhat comical, but for its genre it looks great.
Notably, the player can use their hands to interact with many of the items in the game: throwing cups, flipping bowls, picking up scrolls, eating an apple, and probably much more.
In addition to the campaign for Ezio, Connor from Assassin's Creed III and Kassandra from Assassin's Creed Odyssey can be played in Assassin's Creed Nexus VR, with their quests available to be completed in any sequence.
The IGN journalist noted that Assassin's Creed Nexus VR doesn't feel like a third-party product, but a full-fledged part of the series and a great success for the entire VR gaming industry.
