What we know
A few days ago it became known that the Netherlands and Germany plan to hand over another batch of Panzerhaubitze 2000 to Ukraine. The Ministers of Defense of the two countries announced in Madrid that the Armed Forces will receive six Panzerhaubitze 2000 units.
“In Germany, we decided that we could give Ukraine three more Panzerhaubitze 2000s. Together with the Netherlands, this will be six,” German Defense Minister Christina Lambrecht
The head of the Defense Department said that Germany had already exhausted its ability to provide self-propelled artillery units. Now Ukraine intends to order one hundred units of Panzerhaubitze 2000 from the manufacturer, as Ambassador Andriy Melnyk announced.
