"It doesn't smell like Russian spirit anymore." Zaluzhnyi showed how AFU strike drones "helped" evacuate enemy equipment from Snake Island (video)
As many already know, on June 30, the occupants left Snake Island after a successful AFU operation, calling it not an escape but a "gesture of goodwill". However, as it turned out, on July 1, a pair of Russian aircraft attempted to destroy what remained on the island. They did not succeed, but Ukrainian servicemen helped them to do so.
How was it?
The AFU strike drones and the defenders themselves proved to be more accurate than the enemy's equipment. Therefore, they aptly destroyed the remnants of equipment, which they did not have time to take away. The commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valerii Zaluzhnyi told about it in social networks:
"With yesterday's airstrikes the Russians tried to destroy their equipment, armament and property on Snake Island. However, they traditionally failed in their task. We "helped" the occupiers to finally evacuate the remnants of their garrison from our island. No more "Russian spirit" smells there."
According to the Ukrainian Defense Ministry, Russia's losses on Snake Island are estimated at $915 million.
