Ukrainian military showed how they crossed the river on a tracked floating transporter PTS-2

When retreating from Severodonetsk, AFU servicemen had to swim across the river due to destroyed bridges.

What we know

Some servicemen crossed the river not by boat, but by PTS-2 transporter. The corresponding video was published in social networks.

PTS-2 is a floating transporter on a tracked chassis developed almost 50 years ago. The vehicle has good maneuverability and a large reserve of buoyancy. It can be used to cross rivers and seas.

The PTS-2 is equipped with a 710 HP motor. Maximum afloat speed is about 13 km/h and on highway - 60 km/h. Cruising range is 500 km. The transporter is equipped with 7.62 mm PKB machine gun.
