Eyes for HIMARS - Return Alive Foundation raises $15,000 for Leleka-100 drone that will search for U.S. MLRS targets
The Return Alive charitable foundation has announced that it is raising $15,000 to purchase a Ukrainian drone, the Leleka-100.
What we know
The Leleka-100 is one of the best brigade-level reconnaissance drones. It can reach speeds of up to 140 km/h and correct artillery fire to a depth of up to 50 km. One system includes two UAVs and a control room, its cost is $48,000. But the Return Alive Foundation wants to buy one drone with a thermal imaging camera for $15,000.
The drone will be the eyes for U.S. multiple rocket launchers HIMARS and will search for new targets for them. The Leleka-100 will be turned over to aerial reconnaissance specialists.
To join the fundraiser, you need to buy a t-shirt LELEKA 100 brand "Aviation of Galicia". The price is 600 UAH (~$20). Half of the money will be transferred to the account of the charitable foundation "Return Alive".
