The Norwegians, following Lithuanians and Poles, decided to raise money to buy a Bayraktar TB2 drone for Ukraine.
What we know
Crowdfunding was launched by Norwegian lawyer Bengt Erik Waldow. He plans to raise NOK 55,000,000 (or about $5,440,000) for the UAV. By the way, the first thousand people who donate at least 250 crowns will be able to choose a name for the drone.
Bayraktar TB2 is a Turkish strike operational-tactical UAV with an internal combustion engine and a pusher type propeller. The drone has up to 4 guided munitions. It is capable of remaining in the air for 12 to 24 hours. The maximum control range is up to 150 km.
