Su-30SM fighters, Su-33 and Su-24M bombers: the media published satellite photos of the airport in Crimea a few hours before the explosion
Yesterday, on August 9, Powerful explosions at the Russian airbase in Crimea - more than 20 planes were at the airfield. There were many planes at the airport. Thanks to the media, they were able to identify them.
What we know
Investigators of the program "Schemes" (Radio Svovoda) published satellite images of Planet Labs. According to the pictures there were Su-30SM, Su-33 fighters and bombers Su-24M at the airbase.
A large unknown aircraft was also spotted in the pictures. Presumably, it could be an IL-76.
How many planes were damaged in the explosion is unknown, but judging by the updated statistics of the General Staff of the AFU for August 9, the Ukrainian defenders destroyed 9 planes.
