Independence Day Gift: The U.S. is preparing a new $3,000,000,000 military aid for Ukraine
A week after the announcement of 105-mm howitzers, ammunition for HIMARS, Javelin missiles, TOW missile launchers, drones and MRAP vehicles - details of the $775,000,000 military aid package for Ukraine have been released, the United States is about to announce one more.
What we know
The Associated Press' White House correspondent Zeke Miller made the announcement. According to Miller, the new package will be for $3,000,000,000. It will be timed to coincide with Ukraine's Independence Day (August 24). It's not yet known exactly what kind of weaponry is being talked about.
